About the Project

Built by the Community, For Every Service Member

The Fair Grove MO Veterans Memorial is a community-driven effort to create a permanent, dignified place of tribute for those who served — in every branch, from every era.

Our Mission

Honoring Service, Regardless of Hometown

This memorial will stand as a lasting tribute to veterans and active service members of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard. It is open to all service branches, and any service member can be recognized here — they do not have to be from the Fair Grove area.

The plaza is designed around a central American flag, encircled by an arc of the six branch flags, with a granite monument at its heart. Around it, sponsor plaques and an Honor Wall will grow over time into a lasting record of service and sacrifice.

Our Path to Groundbreaking

Fundraising

We are currently raising funds through Memorial Sponsorships, Flag Sponsorships, Honor Wall plaques, and general donations from the community and local businesses.

Design & Planning

As funds come in, the memorial's final design, materials, and site plan will be finalized in partnership with local officials and American Legion Post 38.

Groundbreaking — Fall 2027

Our goal is to have construction fully funded so we can break ground on the memorial in the fall of 2027.
